Since the launch of the Egyptian Honey Festival in 2019, it aims to raise awareness of the importance of honey and its nutritional and therapeutic role.

Its activities extended over several days, during which a wide range of Egyptian honey products from different regions were displayed.

The festival also aims to promote the culture of consuming honey as a healthy food and natural sweetener.

In its seventh session, the festival adopts the slogan

"Honey... in every home"

to call for the consumption of local honey and support the products of Egyptian beekeepers, as the festival is an opportunity to learn about the various types of honey available in Egypt and benefit from their health benefits. The festival also encourages local trade and cooperation between beekeepers and farmers in Egypt, which contributes to supporting the beekeeping sector and strengthening the local economy.
