Since the launch of the Egyptian Honey Festival in 2019, it aims to raise awareness of the importance of honey and its nutritional and therapeutic role.

Its activities extended over several days, during which a wide range of Egyptian honey products from different regions were displayed.

The festival also aims to promote the culture of consuming honey as a healthy food and natural sweetener.

The festival concluded its seventh edition, which adopted the slogan "Honey... in Every Home" to promote the consumption of local honey and support the products of Egyptian beekeepers. The festival offers an opportunity to learn about the various types of honey available in Egypt and benefit from their health benefits. The festival also encourages local trade and cooperation between beekeepers and farmers in Egypt, contributing to supporting the beekeeping sector and strengthening the local economy.

The eighth edition begins in preparation for the promotion of honey in Egypt, its export abroad, the provision of hard currency, and efforts to raise awareness of the importance of the honey industry in Egypt.
